• CMS
  A set of secured pages for website administrators to manage the layout, structure, content, and setting configuration of an application.
• CSS
  Cascading Style Sheets is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation (look and formatting) of a written document in a markup language. CSS controls the display of elements such as headings, links, and images.
• Export
  The ability to transfer data to external applications.
• FirstAccess
  FirstAccess is a patient sign-in web application that enables patients to sign in via a kiosk (check-in point) when they arrive at the clinic. Patients can check in if they have one or more appointments that day. They can also connect to FirstAccess to view their accounts as well as view and update current forms.
• HTML
  HyperText Markup Language is the main markup language for displaying web pages and other information. HTML controls the position of elements on the page.
• JavaScript
  JavaScript is an open source client-side scripting language commonly implemented as part of a web browser to create enhanced user interfaces and dynamic web pages. In the CMS, JavaScript contains the definitions of custom functions used by the template.
• Level
  A group within a dental institution (e.g., Administrator, Business Management, Dental Student, Faculty, or Hygiene).
• Logic CSS
  The Logic CSS framework is a collection of CSS files. In the CMS, Logic CSS controls the display of logic elements such as spacing, colors, fonts, and borders.
• Page ID
  This field indicates the ID automatically assigned to the page.
• Regex
  A regular expression consisting of a sequence of characters used for searching for occurrences of text or for searching and replacing text.
• Role
  A task or option in axiUm (e.g., EHR – Full, Info Manager – Bank Deposit, Maintenance – Basic, Perio – Forms, or Sched – Expert).
• SMTP
  Simple Mail Transfer Protocol is a set of guidelines for sending e-mail messages between servers.
• String
  A string holds alphanumeric text such as names, descriptions, and fixed messages.
• Text editor
  A program used for editing plain text files. Simple text editors like Windows Notepad provide basic formatting features, for example, cutting, copying and pasting within the file.
• Text file
  A file that contains only text without any formatting or other code applied to it.
• ToolTip
  A line of text that explains a function.
• WYSIWYG
  What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get is an editor for creating web pages that enables editing of content (text and graphics) on-screen.
